Elk Grove, Calif - Priscilla Torres Bradford’s new book, Breaking the Code - S.O.S. (Secrets - Obsessions - Silence) (now available through AuthorHouse), is a revealing look at the intensely personal battles fought by one woman and how faith set her on the road to recovery.

“Breaking the Code deals with our obsessions, secrets and silence: [with] being secret keepers and remaining silent when we should cry for help.” writes Bradford. Her narrative immediately launches readers deep into the lonely world of an abused young woman, but rather than focusing on the negative impacts of such devastation, Bradford chooses to empower herself through faith. She also encourages readers, especially other victims, to overcome negative effects of abuse.

Bradford is the co-founder of JAB Ministries in Sacramento, California. She is also a part of Destiny Ministries of San Antonio, Texas. A native of Hayward, Calif., she is the fifth of seven children, She accepted Christ as her personal savior at age 11, and attended Seminary at age 21, where she received an Associates degree in Theology. The author has spent time working in the Mental health, Travel, and Heating and Air Conditioning industries. She and her husband James have 4 children and one grandchild.
